I actually figured this out. Here is the code I used in ‘Additional CSS’ area of the theme:

.gallery-item {
    margin-top: 0;
    margin-left: 15px;
	padding:1px;
  	border:3px solid;
  	background-color:;
}

I have tried it but the third item of a 3 column gallery goes down. Do you know why?
