Image Gallery not showing up on posts

    Hello,

    I’ve set the post format as “Gallery” and uploaded some images to the gallery section, however the pictures don’t show up on the post itself. Am I doing something wrong here?

    UPDATE: It seems to be linked to the Featured Image elements positioning for single posts, is there way around this or do I have to resort to using the default WordPress block for a gallery?

    When you choose the post format as Gallery, An Image gallery option appear below the metabox settings, from here you can add the gallery images.

    This is exactly what I did but no pictures showed up unless I activate the featured image on post content setting on the customization tab.
    Is there anyway to use this feature without having the featured image active for my posts content?

    Hello,

    Actually those gallery showing at the place of featured image. So you can just remove the featured image of the post and only gallery.

    Or you can also insert the gallery within the post content using gallery widget, if you don’t want to enable the featured image option.
