Image Gallery Issues

  • Since I’ve upgraded to 3.5.1 – when I try to set a featured image or insert an image into page or post – my images will not show up in the gallery. When I upload from PC the check mark comes up as if the picture loaded.

    When I do an insert (post or page) nothing happens. When I do a feature image it say there was an error to try again later.

    When I looked in my media gallery, the files I’ve uploaded are there.

    Anyone else experience this? Is there a fix?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    None of it worked and the last one deleted my site… It’s not taking the backup either (that part may be my fault).

    After the new install, I’m still having the same issues!
