  • Do you mean the background style ? or the popup effect when clicked on ?

    For the background style, it’s just how this theme style the gallery item. Just put in gallery shortcode and it will look just like the demo.

    For the popup effect, it depends on the plugin, try searching on colorbox or lightbox in the plugin page.

    In the link you posted, that website is using the plugin “Gallery Carousel Without JetPack” to make that cool gallery effect with the black background. I use it for my website and it works great.
