Image gallery and ecommerce?

  • I need to set up a photography website with image galleries and the ability to purchase individual photos. I love WordPress and would like to set it all up with it, and I’ve found several plugins for image galleries and a few ecommerce plugins, but I was wondering if there are any that do both? Or a way to integrate the two? Anyone have any ideas? I’d really appreciate some pointers! Thanks!

    Ok well the solution that I’ve worked out at the moment is to use NextGen Gallery, and then I can paste in an “add to cart” paypal button into the description area of the photo and that works.

    Still love to hear if there’s a better way!

    I’m curious about this as well, as I’m working on constructing an online portfolio.

    Me Too, New to WordPress but figuring it out little by little. Also still trying to get images to appear with my posts with my Feedburner email feed. Does anyone know how to do this?

    I also need a soultion to this..
    The “buy now” buttons you can purchase do not fit my requirments as I would like a “send to cart” option with drop down options.

    Does anyone know a way to intergrate a cart with next gen galleries or similar type galleries?

    I also couldn’t get the paypal buttons to show when pasted into the description of the images in the next gen gallery- as described in above posts. Anyone got any more info on this? I am using simple viewer with wordpress 2.7.

    Works, but would be nice to be able to link the bought image with the gallery image automatically.

    At the moment i have to add zipped images and link them manually to each thumbnail.
