I’ve been trying to work this out, but can’t find a solution. If you have a look at this page on my blog…

    https://25reasons.net/my-finished-quilts/french-provincial-circle-quilt/

you’ll see that the html code is visible around the image itself. I’ve discovered that if I don’t put anything in the alternate text or caption, the image shows up fine, with no html code visible.

However, as soon as I do enter text in the alternative text and caption boxes, the image doesn’t centre as I indicate, and the code is visible around the image.

I tried to delete an image and then reinsert it, but I still get the same bad result.

Any help will be very appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Helene

  • I’ve seen a bad plugin cause this effect before. Try deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

OK thanks Esmi, I’ll give it a go.

WOW!!! Well that was very painless! I started with the first plugin – Buzz Roll – and deactivated it, et voilà! All the html code disappeared off the page, the images are now centered, and the captions are where they should be! Thanks esmi, much appreciated!
