• Hi,

During checkout you are serving the below image from your CDN:
    https://cdn.razorpay.com/static/assets/logo/payment.svg

As I understand, International customers can ONLY pay via Credit Cards issued by Visa, MasterCard or Amex

The text in the image above mentions Cards, NetBanking, Wallet & UPI.

This would be confusing for international customers.

You should provide options within the plugin with related images for the store owner to choose:
    1. International Payments only
    2. International + Indian payments
    3. Indian payments only

Please create clear & distinct images for each option in svg format.

P.S. Your plugin has a folder called images which is now redundant since you are serving images from your CDN. You may want to remove this folder in the next update.
    [path]\wp-content\plugins\woo-razorpay\images

Now that you are planning to be active here, I hope to see a quick response / solution.

    Thanks.

On second thoughts, please provide these images options within the plugin.

I have another site with another payment gateway who hosts the image externally like you.

Often a delay is observed while loading this image and this surprises the customer.

During checkout there should be absolutely NO distraction for the customer.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion. We updated images to be served from an external service to allow easier updates. The latency from the image won’t block the payment, as the rest of the page will continue to render. That said, your point about distracting the customer does hold true. Let me discuss this internally and see if this is something we’d want to revert.

Regarding the image used in the plugin currently, it was chosen to account for all the use cases you’ve described, i.e. an attempt to showcase the full capabilities. You’re right in that it can be confusing for stores that only provide services in international currencies, where the additional methods would just seem redundant. This should be fixable by your suggestion, i.e. allow image to be selected by the store owner. We’ll try and plan this for our next release.

    Thanks for your input!

    @razorpay Thanks for your reply.

On a related note, I can see a similar mention of RuPay when attempting to make an international payment:

Ideally there should be no mention of RuPay here.

Would you take this up as well in your internal discussion (since you have the context) OR would you want me to raise this separately with your Support Team?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks

We’ll take that up as well, thanks!
