• I’m using Suffusion theme. I want to put a banner format image in the “Widget Area Below Header”, different on each page. I want control over the URL each image links to. I’ve searched extensively through the forums but haven’t come up with a viable solution.

I would prefer not to use a code hack a) so I can update the theme, b) so that the images can be changed periodically, and c) so that I don’t have to go in to the code if I add pages.

So here’s my idea. Using the ‘NGG Custom Fields’ plugin I’ve added two fields to the NGG ‘banners’ gallery I’ve created, one to hold the URL I want each image to link to and one to hold the page ID where it should be shown.

I found a semi-hack to make the images link to the URL (though I haven’t got it working yet).

Is it possible to call up images from the NGG Gallery based on the page ID, preferably through the [singlepic] shortcode? I can do it using the image ID number from the NGG gallery, but I can’t figure out how to do it using the page ID? If I can do this, can I use a single text widget which will use the page’s ID dynamically?

Any help would be much appreciated.
