Image file storage media library question

  • Not an issue, just looking for clarification. If I’m doing this correctly, it looks like when I add an image to a PhotoGallery. I can then delete it in my Media Library if it’s only needed in that gallery.

    It will still show up in the gallery, but doesn’t take up space in my library. Correct?

    Hello @vjohnson1138 ,

    Thank you for posting your question in our forum.
    Regarding the images, as long as an image is being used in a gallery and exists in your website, it is using a portion of your storage.
    While you have removed the image from media library, if they are available in the gallery, it means they are uploaded in the dedicated folder for Photo Gallery.
