Image field not editable

    I added an image field using WP Members. It is not editable in the backend User Profile screen, unlike the other text fields that I added. I can only edit the image field from the front end.

    I deactivated all other plugins and switched to default theme. Still can’t edit. Is this an error, or are they not supposed to be editable?

    They are not editable on the backend in the current release. The reason is that the WordPress profile does not provide the proper form encoding type needed to process a file upload.

    I have, however, found a way to deal with this and in 3.1.8 file upload will be supported via the admin/dashboard profile.
