• I’d like to be able to use the image editing functionality, but it’s broken.

I’ve read about people fixing this by removing a newline entry from php files, like wp-config.php

There are a lot of php files…

Another suggestion is re-installing wp-admin and all that jazz – can this be done simply by overwriting the directory without destroying the install?

Is there any way to scan php files for php errors like misplaced newlines or php closes?

Are there alternatives to rotating and otherwise editing images via wordpress that I could use?

    Thanks for any ideas/insights!

You might have fixed this already, but I’ve generally found that this is caused by plugin conflicts. Have you ruled those out?

lol – haven’t fixed it, and there are so many plugins… I suppose I’ll have to make a duplicate site for testing someday when I have the time. In the meantime I’ll use manual workarounds – thank god it’s such a tiny feature.

I would think that plugins that deal with images might be a good place to look. ??
