• Whenever I try to drag & drop an image into a Gutenberg article the image always gets placed at the top of the article, right under the headline. The little target line appears where I want it but the image still goes to the top every time.

I’ve been seeing this in a variety of articles, even with multiple images.

Gutenberg Version 10.9.1 plugin. WordPress 5.7.2 running Magazine Pro theme. Using Genesis 3.3.3.

@moviedebuts Realise it’s been three weeks now, but thought I’d see if you’re still having the issue?

Are you dragging an image file or block? I couldn’t reproduce using 5.7 and the latest Gutenberg version. Does it happen in any post regardless of the existing content?
