image don't show via 'Media Library'

  • if i upload an image to media library it is okay. if i try to add it to a post, it does not show, BUT, if i take the wp generated url and “Insert by Url” into post or page, it works? my chmods are correct so it isn’t that. what would cause images to not directly load/show on my post/page from media library directly?

  • Permissions? Anti-hotlinking on server? Is this related to the problems you had updating?

    Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins and switching to a default theme?

    A link to your site might be helpful as well.

    WPyogi – problems not related, tried deactivate plugins, will try default theme, but i did try other themes. using twenty 10, tried twenty 11,12. don’t have default theme installed. will look for one.
