Image doesn't upload. Settings seem to be missing.

  • Running WordPress 4.2.1 running Weaver II theme.

    Tried Smart Maintenance Mode and have a few questions. I’m wondering whether it is because the WordPress version is newer. Any help will be appreciated!

    • It doesn’t upload the image and there is no way to point it at an image already somewhere on the website.
    • I noticed a section below the settings page just above the permissions checkboxes which shows a list. I’m wondering if this is supposed to have checkboxes in which case it might explain the failure of the image to upload. It just shows a text list (no checkboxes etc) and reads as follows: 
      Content Preference for Maintenance Mode Page

1. Custom HTML content
2. Countdown
3. Custom Image
4. Custom Heading and Sub Heading
5. Default Heading and Sub Heading

    What am I doing wrong?
