    Hello,

Every time we publish a new blog on our WordPress blog (https://www.bluelinkerp.com/blog/), an email is sent out to all of our subscribers notifying them of the new post. However, the email includes a picture of our logo which is very distorted. Do you know where I can go to change the default image that shows in the email subscription notifications? I want to change the image so that it doesn’t show as distorted and sized wrong.

    Thanks!

    Hi @markbluelink22

The image that is included in the emails is your site logo. This is defined by your theme and will typically appear in your WP Admin under “Customizer > Site Identity”.

We have more about where the various images come from on this page:

When I go to Customize our Site Identity the logo it shows is not the same logo that is being distorted in our Subscription emails. The logo in our subscription emails is the same image used for our favicon – could the subscription emails be pulling our favicon logo instead of our site logo which is why it’s so distorted (the subscription email shows the favicon logo in a much bigger size).

I looked into this and our documentation is a bit unclear, my apologies. It does indeed pull the favicon. You can upload a favicon up to 512×512 pixels in size, so I would recommend uploading a larger image to fix the issue.

I have also put in a request to have the documentation updated to be more clear.
