Image Details Edit Option Missing From Visual Mode

  • Ever since the 4.2.1 upgrade, the menu that shows up when you click on an image while editing a post which would give you the option to edit the image, alignment, etc won’t show. If I click the image a bunch of times the menu shows up for a quick moment and goes away again. I think the issue is related to the TINYMCE but i cannot find any errors in the javascript console on any browser.

    Any thoughts?

    When I go into firefox and i find this hidden div

    If i manually switch display: none to display: block the menu shows but it doesn’t load the image data when i click edit. So something is wrong with the automatic css that shows the tool bar when you click on an image. In the error console there is nothing.
