Image cut-off in mobile google preview

Hi Karan,

I just checked, and for me the Google preview for mobile shows your site the same as my iPhone and Galaxy do. If you’re still having trouble, could you share a screenshot of what you’re seeing that is not displayed correctly?

So when I check the wordpress editor, the google preview for a post shows a picture. You can check the image here https://imgur.com/OI1DESd

But when I check the same on my browser in mobile its not showing any image right now. Initially the image was cut off but now it isn’t showing .

It looks like we’re talking about two different things…the preview in your screenshot is a preview of how your page may appear in search results, not actually a preview of the mobile site’s rendering.

The post you’re referring to doesn’t show an image at the top in desktop either, the only images are down in the body of the post content.

When I search a link on google , the result doesn’t show a pic in the google preview whereas just below the content it displays this is how my google preview will look like on mobile. Why isn’t a google search actually showing any image? THank you ??

@karanjhanwer The way Google shows an image would really depend on the dimensions of the image that you’ve uploaded. Some of it may get cut off if it is not in the right aspect ratio for that search result. Is there a specific page you need help with tweaking so it shows the right image in the search results?
