image count in gallery posts

  • I’m using the Hitchcock template at https://www.netvalu.net/photography/

    I’m wondering if there’s away in the home page to show somewhere for each post the number of images it contains. Basically I use this to display photos broken into categories, and it would be nice to specify how many images are in each category (post of type gallery).

    Ideally I would like to replace the date on the post with the image count. I couldn’t find away to remove the post date. If I can kill two birds in one stone that would be awesome ??

    I did not find a solution or any replies on this topic. I just manually added the image count to the post titles for the time being. Hopefully someone will come up with something better.
