Image Compression stops at 01:00

    Dear,

    I want to compress the pictures from the WordPress media library.
    I’m using WP-Optimize free version, requires a 50%-50% quality compression. And asking a conversion into webp.

    But everytime I select pictures and run the app, it always stops at 1 minute, plus minus 5 seconds.

    Does anyone have any advice regarding this matter ?

    Ok, I think I found the issue. Quite dumb in fact… ??

    I cleant the databases through WP Optimize, after a database save as advised.

    And now, when I try to bulk compress pictures already put on the WordPress media library, it cannot last more than 1 minute. And it can work only if I don’t check the webp conversion.

    And you know why the compress image cannot work properly ?

    Because a task with a certain ID and type “smush” has been deleted from the database.

    So basically, it looks like WP Optimize deleted part of its own functionnalities. I mean, wut ?? ??

    So that we can investigate this matter further would it be possible for you to provide further information in the form of the WP-Optimize debug log, Smush log and your dev tools console log?
