Image compression level selection bug

    Hello! I would like to report a bug found in compression level selection box in media.
    When changing the compression level of any image in media details > dropdown list.
    eg. from Medium to High

    The image thumbnail is being recreated and webp of the selected media will be deleted also. But then it will not be regenerated again.

    My current workaround is using a custom plugin to add a regenerate webp link in media list so that I can easily regenerate any missing webp. I suggest SG speed optimizer to add the logic of the webp generation side by side with the thumbnail regeneration.

    Hello @simongcc,

    Changing your compression level will re-generate all existing images. In case, you would like to back up all original images, you should select the mentioned option in:

    Media > Image Compression > Edit
