Image check negative number

    Hi, when I click re-check images, I’m getting this message:

    “Image check complete, you have -174 images that need smushing.”

    Bulk Smush doesn’t do anything.

    How can we fix this? Not sure what could have caused that.

    Are you compressing all attachments? Can you please check what is selected under the attachment sizes in Bulk Smush settings?

    Also, please check for any security plugins. They have been known to block Smush calls.

    No security plugins. I’m on WPEngine.

    Yes, “All” is selected under Image Sizes.

    @fabianapsimoes,

    Please try clearing out WPEngine cache and see if that helps. Also, make sure that all images have correct attachment sizes generated. This can be checked with a plugin like Regenerate Thumbnails.
