    Hi Michael,

Thanks first of all for creating this plugin. I am trying to print my blog without any images (too many pages). The issue is that the images captions remain and are shown as one single line of vertical letters—I’ll add a screenshot if I can. This is true for the “print to paper” option, as well as the “print to pdf” option; not for “HTML”. Is there a way to have these captions omitted along with the corresponding images?

Hi @elivanwp, sorry ya that sounds pretty terrible.

I can kinda see this happening myself when I remove images from printouts on my test site (the captions don’t go vertical, but they are left hanging without any image attached). So I think I’ve identified the issue and have a fix. Would you mind trying it to verify it does what you’re wanting? Here’s how:

    1. Download the new version from here: https://github.com/mnelson4/printmyblog/archive/FET/remove-figures-when-removing-images.zip
    2. Go to your WordPress dashboard, click plugins, then “add new”, then “upload” and select the zip file you just downloaded
    3. Deactivate the previous version Print My Blog
    4. Activate the new version of Print My Blog

When you make a printout with no images, their captions should be removed too.

    Does that make sense? Thoughts?

Hey @elivanwp im hoping to release the fix next week. If you manage to confirm it’s fixed on the brtsiin I pointed to shove, that would he really helpful. But if you’re not comfortable testing it no worries.
