When I switched from vanilla ShortPixel to Autoptimize with image optimization turned on, I thought my ShortPixel credit use would remain about the same.
But that’s not the case. I think that one credit is used every time an image is displayed (because Autoptimize invokes the API on every image access). Please correct me if I am wrong.
So where in the past I would just Bulk Process all my images and then have them served from the ShortPixel cache on my site, now I am paying every time an image is displayed. Granted, I get the benefit of ShortPixel’s CDN, but I already have CloudFlare myself.

Frank, would you consider an enhancement that caches the resized and optimized image locally, thus greatly reducing the number of API invocations?
    Thanks.
