In version 2.1.4 I used a simple <br> tag in a title field to add a line break for a product title. In version 2.2.0 it no longer renders the line break but instead shows up in the title.

How it renders in 2.2.0: My Really Long <br>Product title

How it rendered in 2.1.4: My Really Long
    Product Title

Can you get the title fields to allow for simple html tags to be used?

  • Hey @lordgoran ,

In this current version 2.2.0 of ElementsKit we have escaped all html tags inside all the widgets as a security precautions. So you will not be able to use any html code inside the title of the Image Box widget.

But if you need that feature you can roll back to our earlier version.

But you’re still allowing them elsewhere in the image box. That makes no sense to me. Why not allow simple line break, span, and superscript tags? Those won’t pose a threat and you can easily scan for those and allow them. I’m not looking for the world, but just a few simple options to make my site look better.

    Hey @lordgoran ,

As I already said earlier in my earlier reply that the html tags will be strip out for security precautions, but we can help you to achieve this through some tweaking in our plugin’s code.
