• Hi,

I’m trying to add jpgs to my blog entry and using 5.5.1. When I click on the + sign to add a block, I get NO “Image” choice, just GIF. Or “Inline” image, which doesn’t seem to allow captions.

If I type /image I get a drop down with choice of GIF, Instagram, and flicker. I don’t use Instagram or flickr.

The help info on here shows an older version of WordPress, not 5.5.1.

I could use some guidance on how to get images into my blog entry, and /inline isn’t it.

    THank you,

    CC

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
