Image auto resized in post

  • Hi,

    When I add and image to my post WP automatically resizes it to something much smaller. I’ve edited media.php and added the global code in functions.php. Nothing works! I want my image to be 812px wide. My theme is 820px wide.

    Any ideas?

    I’ve also tried adding a div in the post to display the picture as a background but that didnt work either! ??
