I too would like to provide feedback on the removal of the options to add borders, padding and the link title from within the image attributes screen.

I work with hundreds of mom bloggers all who use these features. This is not a minority of users. I know the developers / beta testers all seem to think this is not a big deal. You tend to be tech savvy and its not hard to code it in CSS or the HTML real quick, but for most users this is not the case. Or if a newly added plugin causes an issue on your site you can easily identify and correct the problem. Again not the case for the bulk of WordPress users.

The beauty of WordPress has always been the ability for people who aren’t familiar with CSS or HTML to still be able to have a blog or website and update it. We are removing features they want and use and asking them to either learn HTML or to find a plugin to replace these basic options. Also not a good idea since most plugins are not kept up to date and constantly cause compatibility issues etc.

So my vote (and the hundreds of mom bloggers I represent) would be to get these features added back in as soon as possible.

    Thanks

WP is a great tool and becomes even better in each upgrade. The current one is also a big step forward and it’s really a pity to see such basic options disappear like that. Adding plugins is certainly not the solution in that case.
