Image Attachment Page, Google Indexing Problems

  • First I am using Fancybox, and a mashup of static images on an attachment page is getting indexed by Google. I am getting duplicate and short meta description warnings from this.

    How do I write a proper 301-redirect?
    or
    No Index these attachment pages.

    I don’t mind editing htaccess or robots.txt or template file. just don’t assume i know too much either.
