• Recently www.remarpro.com went through a change in the page/post builder. I’m trying to build up an “About” page. I had some trouble with the last domain so I have to rebuild my website. The issue I’m encountering now is that I’d like to have an image on the left side and text on the right of the image. I do not see this kind of building option in the new WordPress as it was easy to do before the change. Am I missing something?
Can anyone advise how to sort this out using the WP.org page builder?
I appreciate your help in advance.

  • The new editor uses “blocks”, whereas the old one was straight HTML.
The old way was to insert your image and align it left or right. This allows the text to flow on the other side of the image.
You can still do this with blocks, and each block can be aligned.
There is also the Media and Text block which does not have the same alignment option, but the image is side by side with the text.
If you can’t figure out blocks, you can always use the Classic block, which is just the old editor in a “block” context.
