Image alignment not working in parts of the site
-
Hi,
I have just made and launched heatherhavenstories.com using the Tempera theme.
I noticed that when I use the Text widget in the sidebar, I can’t get the text to flow around images. This was a bummer, but not terrible because the sidebar is so small.
However, today I updated the text area in the presentation page, and found that there also, the text align HTML isn’t being recognized. This is causing a big gap on the right and looks awful, right on the main page above the fold.
Any chance of getting this bug fixed? Or anything I can add to the html to get image alignment to work in custom HTML areas again?
Here’s the code for the HTML in the text widget:
<h3><em><strong><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Chocolate-Kiss-Off-Persephone-Vintage-Mysteries-ebook/dp/B013L38HFC" target="_blank">The Chocolate Kiss-Off</a></strong></em></h3> <a href="www.amazon.com/Chocolate-Kiss-Off-Persephone-Vintage-Mysteries-ebook/dp/B013L38HFC"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-171" src="https://heatherhavenstories.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/THUMB-Chocolate_Kiss-off-cover-image-432x648.jpg" alt="The Great Chocolate Kiss Off book cover" width="167" height="250" /></a> <p>Valentine’s Day is around the corner and vats of delicious chocolate are being cooked up to win fair lady’s heart. But at Carlotta’s Chocolates, Carlotta is found cooking in her own vat of chocolate, and not so deliciously. Arrested for her murder is chocolatier Howie Goldberg, good friend to Persephone "Percy" Cole. As one of Manhattan's first female private detectives, Percy is determined to hunt down the real killer. But the sleuth, herself, is being stalked by the murderer, who not only keeps a diary of the latest kills, but records who is next. Percy Cole tops the list. When the lady Shamus finds the illusive killer, will Death be her Valentine? </p> <h3><em><strong>The CEO Came DOA </em>(Coming 2016)</strong> </h3> <img class="alignright size-full wp-image-202" src="https://heatherhavenstories.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/CEOfrontcover-thumb.jpg" alt="The CEO Came DOA book cover" width="150" height="214" /><p>Lee Alvarez takes a job ferreting out the saboteur of a start-up company's Initial Public Offering in the heart of Silicon Valley. Little does she know early one morning she will find the CEO hanging by the neck in the boardroom wearing nothing but his baby blue boxer shorts. Was it suicide? Or was it one of the many people who loathed the man on sight, including his famous rock singer ex? The bodies start piling up all the while she's planning her very own Christmas wedding.</p>
And here’s the code for the Text box on the presentation page, just for the image (the rest of the HTML is just paragraph tags):
<a href="https://heatherhavenstories.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Heather_Haven.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-209 alignright" src="https://heatherhavenstories.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Heather_Haven-744x637.jpg" alt="Heather Haven mystery author" width="375" height="321" /></a>
I feel confident I’m using the imagealign property correctly, but perhaps I’m overlooking something.
