    hello JS,

Same as before as per previous URL. Her you go:

Hello, there seems to be an issue when verifying with google structured data tool: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.valendigital.co.uk%2Fservices%2F its saying that there is an image requirement just in case above url doesn’t work you can use this: https://www.valendigital.co.uk/services/ to check via the google tool..

I have looked at the plugins settings and cant seem to find an option on the wpsso place plugin that covers this.

All other data has passed. Juts this one comes up with an error ?? can you clarify how to get rid of this error please.

IF you look at google rich snippets tools its still moaning of the missing image…

    Kind Regards

When editing https://www.valendigital.co.uk/services/, you’re not getting any warnings about image(s) being too small for the Schema image size?

If you enable the Debug Messages option on the SSO > Advanced settings page, I can have a closer look to see why the image is being rejected and/or not being used. If you use any HTML optimizing plugins / services, makes sure they’re not removing HTML comments from your webpages (do a “View Source” to make sure). ??

    Hello JS,

Actually, yes I am! Never thought about that. It gives this message:

Media Library image ID 1146 ignored — the resulting image of 0x0 is smaller than the minimum of 400×160 allowed by the Google / Schema standard. A larger and/or different custom image — specifically for social meta tags and markup — can be selected in the Social Settings metabox under the Select Media tab.

HOWEVER the image that I have chosen is definitely not 0x0 its 292×100 an i assume that this size is correct. the only thing is that its a gif image…
    Maybe thats the issue?

Ill change to a jpeg/png version to see what happens..

    Kind Regards

    Hello JS,

OK, think i know what I did wrong. I was using an SVG image !! Thought that would have worked but apparently will now.

I am now using an jpeg image which has dimensions of 400×160 as your warning recomended (see above reply) however when adding and saving an image of that required size it still gives me an error!

Media Library image ID 1704 ignored — the resulting image of 400×160 has an aspect ratio equal to/or greater than 2:1 allowed by the Google / Schema standard. A larger and/or different custom image — specifically for social meta tags and markup — can be selected in the Social Settings metabox under the Select Media tab.

So what Am i doing wrong now? no where in the plugin does it state the size to upload etc.. Is 400x160px a correct size??

    Kind Regards

What is your “Google / Schema / Pinterest” image dimensions under the Settings > Social and SEO Image Dimensions page? Your image must be large enough to provide that size. Cropped vs uncropped makes a difference – see the Setup Guide for details.
