  • I am having a problem setting links. I am using links on college logos to open thee college website when clicking on the logo.This appears to be an intermittent problem. Most of the time it does not work, once in a while it does.

    What happens is that I get a dark screen with a whit square in the middle of it when I click on the image.

    Click on useful links: either general links or or getting for college. Try several different images as the problem does not always occur on any given image.

    I am using Chrome but have tried other browser with the same results. I have called my web host (bluehost.com) and they could see the problem, but tell me they are not the cause.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
