I’ve never used Podtrac so I’m not sure how it works in that regard. If they provide you with an alternate RSS feed URL then I would say you should add that to the external feed URL field in the settings and submit that URL to iTunes. However, I can’t advise directly as I don’t know how Podtrac works exactly.

    Thanks for the quick reply,

They give me an enhanced feed which can add stuff to the rss feed and also the option to use a prefix url.

I tried the enhanced feed and it does go into my podcatcher ok, but when I submit through the feedvalidator it doesn’t like the links I’ve added to podcast post section and I want to keep those links, anyway around that?

You might have to update the links you’ve added to the podcast episodes to be something that is more compatible with Podtrac, but like I said – I don’t really know too much about how Podtrac works or what they require, so you’ll have to askthem about the specifics in that regard.

I get the same errors though when I’m validating the feed before it’s being enhanced though such as problems using iframe tags and the controls attribute.

Is there a way for me to keep the tags in my posts but stop them being included in the xml?
