Hello, I am finally testing it to my real service site, but I am stuck at 12% comparing system footprint, for all subsites. It worked for subsite 3, but since then from subsite 5 to 10, all are in the same situation.

    Hi Keith,

Sorry to hear you have issues restoring the package. Before you proceed to send us details, can you please do the following:

    • [optional] Cancel any if its stuck by closing the browser, logout and clear browser cache.
    • [optional] If you have access to your server – try restarting PHP / MySQL.
    • Please check if your target site hosting plan has sufficient free disk space. Restoring a site requires disk space so it will appear stuck or unable to return an error if the disk is full.
    • Please check if the target site is accessible publicly. For example – no 404 errors on the homepage of the subsite.
    • Before you proceed with the site restore – check if the site does not have 500 internal errors on it, etc. If the site appears blank – please double check if the site has active theme on it (default theme will do) and no critical PHP errors. If there are errors before you restore – please clear that error first.

Now if you have done the above steps and still getting the stuck error. Can you please send us the migration logs / site information log / debug.log so we will know what could be the reasons for this issue? To generate the log – please do the following:

Please do not post log contents in this forum because they are public. The log contains sensitive information related to your site. Thank you!

sorry but none of the options worked, so i figured that it is about my nginx php setting. i am trying to reinstall everything, but in the meantime to avoid any dependency issue to legacy system, i think it is better to deactivate all plugins before creating migration package from single site to multisite’s subsite.

will come back to you again once i can find proper configuration.

    Hello Keith,

Thanks for the update. Yes of course, a stable server configuration is required to have the site fully working. Once it is working fine and you can now restore the site, feel free to close this ticket.

Otherwise if you still need technical assistance and if you could confirm it’s related to Prime Mover – please send us the logs as requested (please refer to my previous reply for details). We will take a closer look on this issue and check what’s causing it.

    Have a nice weekend!

I completely reinstalled entire LEMP stack with configurations that I learned over the past a week for Nginx and PHP FPM. Things are working now, and the above issue seems related to outdated plugins that does not support PHP8.

For a system that has been running for sometime, the issue occurs again. For a fresh installation of multisite, almost always it works, but after some time, donno what happened in between, but the same issue occurs again and again.

Most often, I end up at 12% ‘Comparing system footprint’, and this occurs for websites that I just exported from subsite to another subsite. Say, I want to have a complete copy of subsite 10 and apply it to subsite 20, it is always stuck at 12%, if the system has been running for a few days.

These days, having tested for still on test stage multisite, about 3 week, I now have ‘Runtime error’ I clicked Report error option, and I hope it reached you.

What’s concerning me is that I changed runtime settings but have the same issue

For Search replace batch size, I changed the value from 25,000 to 100,000.

For MySQLdump batch size, from 5,000 to 100,000.

My next option was to change the nginx/php’s runtime option from 300 to 3,000 seconds, yet, the runtime error occurs only about 1~2 mins after I imported prior copy.

    Hello Keith,

Thanks for the update. If you are getting a runtime error log – please send it via our official contact page and we will take a look into to see if it’s reproducible. If the runtime error log file is big, zip it and send us the link to download it instead via the official contact page also.

For Search and replace / MySQL dump batch size – the smaller the better (e.g. default values) since it will retrieve / update a few chunks of data to database instead of the bigger ones. This requires a lower server timeout settings than higher values.

If you have reproduced the runtime error again – you can share the WPRIME package to us by sending us the link to download it (you can upload it via Google Drive / DropBox, etc.) and also send us logs these following logs:

    • Runtime error log (if caused by runtime error)
    • Migration log
    • Site information log
    • Debug log
    • Error screenshots (optional if helpful)

You can refer to this tutorial on how to send us all these logs to tech support for analysis.

WP Multi Network – WordPress plugin | www.remarpro.com

I used above plugin to create another network within the multisite network. In the 2nd network of the multisite, which is basically a fresh network, though it is still in the same multisite, it worked without any issue.

I guess this may help you debug the problem.
