I’m PHP 7 Compatiable but cannot seem to update my WordPress blog at all

  • I can’t even seem to update to a 5.4, or 5.5 version. It says compatiable, and to download the report. Okay, I have the report. Now what? So confusing.

  • Hi, if you’re on shared hosting you need to contact your host about updating your PHP. If your host offers cPanel you may be able to change the version yourself using PHP version manager.
