• About a month ago, I started to not receive all of the submissions when a user fills out the contact form. Seems like half of the entries are getting “stuck” and not pushing through to my email so I’m not aware that they filled out the form.

I had to install Flamingo that I check multiple times per day to see what didn’t get pushed through my email. Very inconvenient. Anyone else have this issue? I have the latest version of WordPress and the plugin.

  • Hi sophied, could you pls help me an issue. I have set this plugin, and I can see the green border text after submitting the form, but why I cannot receive the message in my e-mail. Thanks a lot.

I can’t help you, I’m having the same issue.

Have you tried to reproduce the issue deactivating all the other plugins and/or theme?
Sometimes the plugin conflicts with other plugins or themes.

I’m having the same problem. The messages are showing on flamingo fine and when I checked my server it looks as if the plugin sent the forwarded message ok, but it was then bounced back from gmail.

I suspect that gmail is seeing emails from the contact form as spam.

Is the email you’re forwarding to a gmail address?

I am having the same issue, I do not receive the email address and subject. It comes in blank
    From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    Subject: [your-subject]
I only receive the message. How do I fix the problem?

Same issues here too. I’m using latest version of the Contact Form plugin and WordPress, as well as the Invisible Recaptcha plugin. Email test plugin works fine, and messages show up in Flamingo without a subject name. Checked recaptcha keys, and configuration. Clueless.

I’ve discovered that about 50% of my contact form request do not come through to my email. Flamingo has been really useful in discovering this but it’s very disappointing. I’ve lost a lot of potential clients. As there seems to be nothing that can be done and it can’t be trusted I’m going to have to find alternatives. Why do contact forms always end up being so unreliable?

We had this problem. In our case, we were not receiving the client’s email address. Here’s what fixed it. In the MAIL tab, the “Email: [your-email]” was missing in the MESSAGE BODY. I added it and the problem was solved.
