• Just started using WordPress this week, so keep that in mind. I have been developing with HTML, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, Actionscript 3.0, and others for years though, so I’m not illiterate.

I saw this had the highest rating so I tried it out on a page I’m working on for a very simple “only-for-looks” gallery with no controls.

First of all, controls aren’t that obvious and menus are not logically laid out, but I could have gotten used to that. The big problem is that as soon as I figured out the shortcode and was expecting it to work, it threw a “jQuery not defined” error. I tried to look up where the problem was and added “wp_enqueue_script” for it but nothing worked. No good for me.

  • @rhoded – Just following up on some old reviews.

Assuming you really just didn’t get the plugin to work, I think your review is pretty justified. I would point out that shortcodes have been working for most users for a long time, so something specific was probably going on.

My bigger question is if you’ve had a chance to use the plugin again lately, and found this to be resolved given the amount of improvements we’ve made since your review.

    Thanks (Erick).
