I'm inserting images from my Media gallery into a post, but they're not showing

  • I had a designer create a website for me and he created it on WordPress so that I could update it myself. It’s fairly user-friendly, but I’m trying to insert images into a post that are already in my media gallery, and anything larger than a thumbnail isn’t showing up when I open the page in preview. Also, I don’t know how to change what part of the photo shows up in a thumbnail and would love to be able to do that so my photos aren’t strangely cropped. Can someone please help me with this?
