I’m having a problem with allowing users to upload review photos.

  • Hello, I’m having a problem with allowing users to upload review photos. The problem arises because I’ve set the review function to only be available to users who have actually purchased our products. However, the issue occurs when users who are not logged in can still use the review form as normal. This leads to them uploading photos intending to write a review. What happens is that the users cannot submit the review because they are not logged in and are not actual customers, but the photos they intended to add to the review are still uploaded to our server, even though they didn’t actually submit a review. How can I resolve this issue?

    Thank you for using CusRev and for your feedback.

    I can see the issue with the option Review Permissions: Reviewers must be verified owners on the plugin settings page Reviews > Settings > Review Forms tab.

    If you don’t want to show the review form if the users are not logged in, please select the Reviewers must be registered and logged in option.
