I'm happy with NextGEN

I’m using the Parabola theme and apart from one small issue, NextGEN works fine for me. The issue was with Parabola permalinks. The default interferes somehow with NextGEN but if you change the permalink to ‘page name’ everything’s fine.

Also, I posted that problem I had and got the answer that resolved my problem from NextGEN support within the day. So I’m a happy client.
