I’m Getting the Parent Directory instead of the Index page

Hi, when I am inside my index (home) page and click on admin, I am taken to the parent directory instead if the wp-admin/index.php page. Also, when I’m in the admin area and click on view site, I’m taken to the parent directory where my main index.php is found. Can anyone suggest a fix? Thanks.
