Did you get my email reply, Justin? The Permalinks reset didn’t work. Leastwise, not for me on my site (after you reset them). I too reset them again, but still…

No dice. I’m still getting a 404 on all my category links. ;(

What about your kitcatsz? Looks like your golfcampeat site is likewise returning 404s on your categories.

@travelnlass – No dice for me too. I even went to the WordPress, Settings,Permalinks just in case as well as under “Recipes.”

Okay, I found that Cooked is adding an extra “/” with the Category URLs. So you’re getting a 404 here:

https://www.travelnlass.com/browse-recipes//recipe-category/comfort-food/

But without the extra slash, it works:

https://www.travelnlass.com/browse-recipes/recipe-category/comfort-food/

I will release an update soon to fix this!

Ah yes, a single tiny little bugger like that (e.g. an extra slash, semicolon, omission of a bracket or comma) can wreck havoc for sure (in an earlier life I hand-coded websites too). Tough to unearth the culprit.

I just tried it now, on all the other category links. Glancing up at the 404 url – there’s the extra slash every time. And when I back it out/delete it – it returns the correct category page every time.

@boxystudio I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
