    I’ve just started trying to set up Contact Forms 7 and after installing the newest version of reCAPTCHA I started getting the “There was an error trying to send your message. … ” When I turn off reCAPTCHA I’m able to send messages. Why?

    Sorry, I should have given that to you. It’s https://usislands.org/ There is an older version of reCAPTCHA active on all the older Ultimate Form Builder forms in use on the site.

    There aren’t any Contact Form 7 forms live on the site yet. I’m still learning the ins and outs of Contact Form 7. But, I do have one I can attach to one of the pages.

    I think that I may have solved this. In copying the Secret Key I somehow missed the last character, which was the under score ‘_’ and not hard to miss.
