• The whole story begun when I started a new website the same way I’ve started 6 more, one as recently as last week. When I went to set the featured Content Gallery in my Lifestyle 4.0 theme, I was able to see it working fine only in my computer, through Firefox. I couldn’t see the gallery in Safari, IE, nor in another computer running Firefox.
I installed 4 different galleries, none worked. After working on this till 3 am, and all this morning, I finally decided to do a fresh install of WordPress, uploaded a brand new Genesis theme and a Lifestyle Child theme, finally figured out how to set Dynamic Content Gallery, and the result? All the pictures look fine in my computer in Firefox…. can’t see them in Safari, or IE or in the other computer with Firefox!! What is going on? I’m in the verge of tears!!!! I just can’t understand this! What kind of setting is there that is messed up?? Is it a server thing? All my 6 other websites were done in the same way and those are working fine…please, help me, please!!

  • There are no images in the markup on your site.

Where is that? It’s the first time I’ve heard of that. Forgive my ignorance :(.

On the site you linked to above you have 2 basic “pages” – Home and About. Since I couldn’t see any images on either page using Firefox and you said that you’d had issues in Firefox, I tried searching through the markup source of each for any reference to images. Couldn’t find any.

So if you’ve added a featured gallery/featured image to either of those pages, it’s not a theme display (CSS) issue or a problem with your images being uploaded incorrectly (ie WordPress can’t find and display them). There simply aren’t any images being added to the generated pages.

I don’t understand…. I don’t have any pages yet, but I do have 15 posts and each image is linked to those posts, pulling from my images/content folder. The thing is the site looks perfect in my computer in Firefox, but not anywhere else. Why can I see the images here without a problem?

All I see is Home – About – No categories on https://luxuryusedcars.org/

ok, I added a category, but the problem still exists. Now you can see Home and testing.
I just don’t get what is happening. All the settings I have and the way the site is laid out is the same as 6 other websites that are working fine. Where am I supposed to upload the pictures? Why can I see them in my browser? I would invite you to come into my computer if you have teamviewer, I am really going crazy!!!

These are the links to the pictures… there’s 16 of these and they all work.

    I’ll jump with you…

Sorry, not an answer; but I’d like to “piggyback” on this thread in hopes of finally finding out what “markup” means! I’ve tried searches worded every possible way I can think of, asked questions specifically about the mystery stuff below the post window – with no success. Now, markup = profit I understand…but I don’t think that’s quite the right context.

Silverface, Next time, you should start your own thread as this is a derail. Markup is simply the M in HTML: https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_intro.asp

@labecs: I cam see the images now! Did you change something?
