IIS7 vs WAMP

If I had to setup an intranet for a client I would just setup a Linux box on an old PC. IMO that would be the best way to do it ??

I have installed wordpress on my pc using IIS8 ( Microsoft WEBMATRIX )
and it works fine on the same pc
i want to view it from other pcs the same network ( the same lan ) but no use.
the installation goes here https://localhost:13985/
please help me to view it from other pcs on the same lan

Try accessing the intranet by typing https://[your intranet PC’s IP address]/

You need to have the intranet on the IIS server and have it configured as a website ??

Sounds like IIs7 is configured poorly. Keith is correct. A LAMP server is much easier and faster.

I decided to continue on with WAMP, which is a much better choice over IIS.
