    If I have WordPress running on IIS10, what security features will I be bound to lose if I install this plugin?

  • Hi blackawxs,
    Running Wordfence on Windows web servers is not officially supported as mentioned in the “Operating System” requirements on the documentation website.

    However, we know that some users managed successfully to get the plugin working fine on Windows servers, so it’s worth to give it a try, only in case you encountered any problem with the Firewall, you can disable it by adding this line in wp-config.php file:
    define('WFWAF_ENABLED', false);
