ihover color change

I’ve been try to get the background color to change on my ihover element from Visual Composer with no result. I’m borrowing a friends computer so I don’t have a CodeCanyon account.

Can anyone show me how to modify my coding to change the background color.

I tried to incorporate a custom css but this didn’t yield any results either.
