  • Hey @soo7mi,

Sorry to leave you hanging there. I’ll document a new bug ticket for this — you’re definitely not the only one.

Does the gist from your other thread still work in repairing those custom permalinks?

    Take care,
    Ed ??

@erishell thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I’ve tried the gist before (just tried it again to make sure), and no change. Saving the custom URL still strips the /.

    Hi @erishell,

I am also having this issue with the custom URL feature. It means that we are unable to have the events calendar as a sub page on our web site. Is there any quick fix around this solution?

As of now, using WP Rollback might be the only option. I’ll look into this a bit more, since there’s really no ETA I can give, unfortunately.

Just to verify, this is occurring on The Events Calendar 4.6.21 and WordPress 4.9.8?

@erishel, yes it’s occuring on 4.6.21 on 4.9.8 (latest version of WP), but the issue started back in late January.

@erishel, are you suggesting I rollback to an older version from January?

    (@soo7mi)

@erishel just following up. Is the only real solution to rollback to an older version from January 2018? Or are you guys working on something?

We’re working on a resolution for this. While unfortunately there’s still no ETA, we do our best to update these topics when a fix rolls.

Hey there! This thread has been inactive for a while so we’re going to go ahead and mark it Resolved. Please feel free to open a new thread if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help. ??

This issue was never resolved. We ended up removing the plugin from the site altogether and went in another direction. Good to close!
