Hello, congratulations for your big plugin, I’m experiencing an unwanted redirect, I think everything can be resolved if I can prevent the compile from creating an automatic redirection for this url .. it’s an active and functional url, but I do not know why the add-on creates a redireccion, I want to know how to ignore this url.

The plugin does not redirect URLs that would not result in a 404. You can verify this by looking at the redirect that’s created – what is the URL in the URL column and what is the URL of the page it ends up redirecting to? A trailing backslash (/) at the end makes a difference.

To ignore a URL you could try the “Files and Folders Ignore Strings – Do Not Process” setting on the Options page.

Probably it would be easier to just change the redirect to direct to the correct page instead, if it’s not redirecting to the correct page.

If it is redirecting to the correct page, what’s the issue?

Also you could turn on debug logging and test the URL that’s being redirected to see if the 404 Solution plugin is the plugin that’s doing the redirecting, or something else.

Let me know how it goes.

    thanks

Earlier I meant to say you could try the “Files and Folders Ignore Strings – Do Not Process” setting on the options page. Probably it won’t work though as it’s meant to deal with files and not urls.

It’s already solved, I’m sorry, it was not your complement’s fault, rather, wordpress was creating an infinite loop in a publication, that’s why your plugin was trying to solve the situation .. I corrected the original publication and everything is now correctly, thank you for your time … you always learn something new.
