ignore the <!more> tag..

Just wondering if there’s a way to ignore the <!more> tag on pages other than the single post page..?

Eg. I want to only display the excerpt (up to the !more) on my home.php page but on category pages, i want all posts to show the full content.. however, even with using the_content, the posts only go up to the !more tag within them. But i’d like them to actually show the full content.

Is this doable?
